NBC Retail Banking Director, Filbert Mponzi said over the weekend that the new partnership with Sanlam Insurance Tanzania will enable NBC to act as financial supermarket that caters for the financial needs of their customers and at the same time offer solutions to customers by protecting their families and businesses through relevant, affordable and comprehensive insurance solutions.
“This partnership between NBC and Sanlam will increase insurance penetration in Tanzania through the extensive footprint of NBC,” he said. Mr Mponzi said that the NBC-Sanlam partnership will provide tangible benefits to customers and clients, by introducing value added product that will be available across the entire branch network.
“The customers/clients relationship will be enhanced due to the availability of comprehensive array of insurance and banking products in one window,” he said.
The NBC retail boss said the launch of the NBC Sanlam insurance partnership is an affirmation of NBC’s commitment of bringing convenience to its customers and thus enhancing the customer experience.
‘’The NBC Sanlam insurance partnership will save the time of our customers who will not be required to physically commute to an insurance agency to acquire insurance services. NBC customers can now conveniently acquire insurance services and products inside our branches without spending valuable time commuting to insurance agencies,’’ he explained.
