The Tanzanian Air Force Authority (TCAA) has announced that Fastjet's airline company has lost trade reputation in the country.  TCAA has issued a 28-day notice to terminate the company's license to provide Tanzania travel services.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam, TCAA's CEO, Hamza Johari said they have now decided to give them 28-day notice so they can re-establish whether they can go on business or have defeated them because of the overall trade trend they are driving.

He said the Fastjet has lost business reputation in the country, and has prevented one from jumping from constant problems and the lack of corporate accountability.

"We have been writing a letter to ask them about their business trends since Fastjet Plc's withdrawal, but also the organization has had unpaid debts." If we ask for their financial and business plan in terms of the law they do not, "Johari said.

He said the agency was charged with many of its providers including TCAA who claimed Sh1.4 billion but also does not have a manager responsible for aircraft issues that should provide air conditioning responses.

"At the moment the fastjet has airplanes, their flight since yesterday we have prevented flying because it has always been a mistake and no one can report on his behavior something that threatens security when it comes," Johari said.

He urged the people to avoid being neglected by the service providers who will install Fastjet tickets while they are not currently operating, but have no airplanes.

Earlier today FastJet has stopped all its trips and has already announced from Desema 20, to return to the passenger travelers in December and January this year
